I worked with Gene and Farm Sanctuary in the very beginning - in the row house in Wilmington, DE, where Hilda first came, and the 1st farm in Avondale, PA. 25 years ago, I could have never envisioned going from eating in a transformed school bus (where Gene lived) to eating at a Black Tie Gala on Wall Street at a Farm Sanctuary event. Brings tears of joy to my eyes!!!Caitlin2mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18223607794709648590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-755250581191430571.post-72802493449963792092011-05-17T07:38:04.458-07:002011-05-17T07:38:04.458-07:00OMG!!! Everyone who knows what is going on, its our role to educate those we love so they too can "evolve" to ending cruelty towards to animals. I don't expect for the world to not eat meat, but to do away with cruelty for just the taste (aka Dairy, veal, fois gras). Animals deserve respect and we should honor them as beings with rights of their own to this life. Admire your work and keep it up...I am coming to visit soon, can't wait!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-755250581191430571.post-91351545537783696642011-05-16T15:17:19.786-07:002011-05-16T15:17:19.786-07:00From afar (Nashville), I am sending all a big THAN...From afar (Nashville), I am sending all a big THANK YOU for all the heartfelt work for animals.
